Sunrise from Barrington is outstanding – a short walk to view it from the beach or, in colder months, the perfect view from our private balcony or even the master bedroom.  But since our villa faces mostly east, you will need to go somewhere else to view the sunset.  Here are some of our favorites….

Just North on Ocean Lane (turn right from Barrington) is a small park that holds two of the oldest things on Hilton Head Island – a lighthouse built in 1880 and an oak tree that is between 435 and 450 years old. The lighthouse is no longer in service, and you can’t go up inside…
